If you’re arriving by train, the village is served by St Margarets, Herts station (SMT) which is a short walk from The Maltings Business Centre. The station has trains every 30 minutes direct to & from London Liverpool Street (approx 43 mins) and Hertford East (approx 8 mins).
London Underground’s Victoria line can be accessed within approx. 27 minutes of St Margarets Herts station (SMT), at either Tottenham Hale or Seven Sisters and the Overground can be reached at Cheshunt – just 3 stops from the village (approx 12 mins).
By road, Stanstead Abbotts is conveniently located just off the A414, between Ware and Harlow. This connects the village to the A10 (London to Cambridge), the M25 at Enfield (Junction 25), the M11 at Harlow (Junction 7) and the major towns of Hertford, Hatfield and St Albans.
The number 10, 410 and 337 buses pass through the village, connecting Stanstead Abbotts with Harlow, Hertford, Waltham Cross, Hoddesdon and Broxbourne. (Use Abbotts Court bus stops on the High Street for the Maltings Business Centre).
