Orange Zebra is a Children and Families Therapy company based across Hertfordshire and Essex. We offer Art Therapy and Dramatherapy to children and young people from age 4-25.
Our mission is to increase access to Art Therapy and Creative Therapies for Children, Teenagers and Young Adults age 4-25.

Children and teenagers can sometimes struggle to engage in talking therapies, particularly if they are neurodivergent such as those with Autism or ADHD . We offer an alternative approach. We are passionate about young people having a choice around a therapy that feels good for them.
Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that can work well with children and young people especially, this approach can gives them an opportunity to explore their feelings creatively at a pace that feels safe. The art psychotherapist is an allied healthcare professional Registered with the HCPC, they are trained to a high level with a minimum of a masters degree in art therapy.
It can be hard to sit and talk about your problems for the first time, working creatively can alleviate anxiety and develop confidence in making progress towards meaningful goals.
We work with children and young people with anxiety, panic attacks, low mood, overwhelming negative thoughts, depression, dysregulated emotions, self harm, trauma, early childhood abuse, loss, bereavement, PTSD, Bullying, School challenges and more.
Art therapy and Dramatherapy are accessible to everyone including those that may be neurodiverse.
We specialise in working with children with autism, ADHD, and communication needs. You do not need to be skilled in artmaking or have any previous experience. The art therapist supports the client to express themselves using creative resources and art therapy techniques.
We welcome children and young people from all cultural backgrounds and communities such as LGBTQ+.
We offer individual child therapy sessions, parent and child therapy sessions and group therapy in Harlow (Essex), and Ware (Hertfordshire). We work in collaboration with parents and can offer parent sessions to explore issues that impact on their relationship with their child.
We take a client centred approach to our therapy sessions with children and teenagers, we focus on the unique needs of each individual within their family, and their personal life experiences.

In response to the high demand for after-school and weekend appointments, we are excited to announce that our clinic now offers Saturday hours. From 9am to 6pm, we provide Art Therapy sessions in our therapy rooms in Hertfordshire, aimed at supporting Mental Health and addressing issues such as Anxiety. Our qualified professionals are dedicated to providing an alternative provision to Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Our therapy for children sessions can help kids and young people make sense of sad, angry, painful, or confusing thoughts and feelings, including those related to anxiety. Art therapy, a specialized form of psychotherapy, utilizes visual and tactile media alongside talking to support clients in expressing and communicating their emotions and experiences, ultimately enhancing their mental health through effective counselling.
