Why choose Orange Zebra in Harlow?
At Orange Zebra, we specialize in working therapeutically with children, teenagers, and young adults. Our therapists are professionally trained and HCPC registered, with experience supporting young people with a wide range of emotional and psychological needs.
We understand that asking for help can feel daunting for both young people and their parents. Our aim is to make the process of seeking mental health support in Harlow as comfortable and straightforward as possible.
What happens in art therapy?
Art therapy isn’t about being good at art. Young people can use drawing, painting, collage, clay, and other creative materials as part of their therapy. The creative process provides another way to communicate and explore experiences that may be difficult to articulate.
Sessions are guided by the young person's individual needs, interests, and goals, with the therapist providing a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Who is art therapy for?
We work with children from around age 4 through to young adults aged 25. Art therapy may be suitable for a young person who is struggling emotionally, experiencing anxiety, finding school difficult, having difficulties communicating, or simply struggling to make sense of their experiences.
You don’t need to know exactly what is wrong before getting in touch. If you’re concerned about a child or young person, we are happy to discuss whether art therapy might be an appropriate option.
